Following a typical Japanese breakfast we start our day's walk in high spirits. The weather is perfect,
however we are warned that this area is full of venomous vipers(this was not mentioned in our itinerary notes) and sure enough we soon see Mr SlitheryDee:
We finish the day with an onsen communal bath and a multi-course dinner.

We are assured that this is one of the less venomous species and if bitten we would have at least 24 hours to get our affairs in order before dying an agonising death.
Anyway we continue along with multiple other snake sightings.
We arrive at our lodgings and bedraggled but happy in the knowledge of having lost only 2 members of our party to snake bite.
