Let it rain, let it pour.........

Today's forecast is for relentless rain so our walk is somewhat modified.
Following a hearty breakfast
Note dead fish top right
we don our (Rudolph the red nosed) rain gear and are taken by bus to the amended start for today's hike.

Jamie our tour leader makes numerous stops to explain local folklore and religion. This is so much better than being warm and comfortable back at the hotel.

Eventually we make it to an unlikely cafe in the middle of the forest for a very well deserved cuppa.

Then it on to our next holy place which has something to do with a 3 legged crow-very Game of Thrones!

Lunch is in a very pleasant western style restaurant.
Jamie calls for volunteers to complete the arduous afternoon walk over the mountain back to our digs; Robyn and I both volunteer but due to the lack of clemency in the weather it is cancelled-we are devastated and beg to be allowed to do it alone but he will not be moved.

So we are driven back to our hotel for a warm bath and a beer or 3 and then for our sparse dinner

Gotta love fish paddle pops
and so bed
